Sound Foundations

Yesterday saw the publication of a new report entitled Sound Foundations from the Sutton Trust. The report examines what current research has to say about the quality of early childhood education and care for children under three. Although it has primarily made headlines for it's recommendation that the rollout of the free nursery scheme should be delayed, the report also provides a range of other recommendations for future policy and practice.
